Services Offered:"cage-free" boarding and day care for large, medium, and small dogs (each with their own areas) and cats (in an upstairs cat room). We can also take care of your birds and small animals (in cages) in their own room.
"Cage-Free" boarding means that during the day when staff are present to supervise, your dog(s) will be allowed to play and interact with other dogs in our spacious indoor area and in the fenced back play yard. This way when you are on vacation or at work, you can rest assured that your dog is having a great time. Dogs that pass our temperament test can be in the common areas and the play yard, playing with the other dogs. We will also attempt to accommodate dogs that don't get along with other dogs by having them stay in suites and taking them outside on leashes (bypassing the common areas) for potty breaks.
We require dogs to be up-to-date on their vaccinations (proof required). This includes rabies, which means the dogs must be at least 3-4 months old (the earliest age that they can get a rabies vaccination). We also strongly recommend that the dogs be spayed or neutered, though we may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis (and there is a 10% surcharge to cover the special housing and/or monitoring that may be required). All dogs must also be licensed and be wearing their rabies tag if required in their city/county of residence.

At night, during feeding times, and when no staff are present, the dogs are kept in their quarters/kennels. There are various kennel sizes to accommodate different-sized dogs and to allow multiple dogs from one household to stay in the same kennel.
We have 8 dog quarters in our large dog area, 8 in our medium dog area, 12 in our small dog area, plus three "suites" for dogs that need more privacy or prefer more spacious accommodations.

My dog attends day camp three to five days a week. She loves it and has a great time. She is always exhausted and ready for a nap when I pick her up. The staff are great and really keep you informed on what your pet has been up to. Great to finally have somewhere in the valley where I can trust my dog is being cared for when I am at work!"--Camille "My dog has been to the CVPH twice now, once for a week and again for a quick overnight. And I have plans to take him in just to play about once per week. These folks KNOW DOGS! They are terrific, attentive, and caring with all of the animals there. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and tired from all the playing he did! It's terrific to have a great pet boarding option in the valley. Keep up the good work. You guys are great!!"--Kelly "Good price, dogs roam freely, nice people, very organized, close by. Dogs came back satisfied and exhausted, dog waste was cleaned up regularly."--Nate More testimonials |
